ABC Clinics' team of doctors is comprised of 13 licensed Chiropractors with physical therapy privileges serving the DC/MD/VA metropolitan area. Our Doctors of Chiropractic are among the most elite in their profession, having been the exclusive and/or preferred chiropractors for professional and Olympic level athletes and athletic teams, including Team Colavita Cycling, and the Washington Wizards. Furthermore, our doctors are active members of various chiropractic committees, including the Board of Directors at New York Chiropractic College, American Chiropractic Association, Maryland Chiropractic Association, and the Association for the History of Chiropractic. The doctors at ABC Clinics also created the Chiropractic Assistant certification for the state of Maryland, which includes instruction on anatomy and physical therapy. Several of our doctors are also post-graduate faculty for continued education for doctors in their field. Our doctors have also published research in biochemistry and chiropractic. Our clinics can accommodate Spanish, Vietnamese, Italian, and Mardarin speaking patients.
Dr. Louis S Crivelli, II received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in 2001. He also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Muhlenberg College. Dr. Crivelli is a Certified Nutrition Specialist as recognized by the American College of Nutrition. He is 1 of only 7 chiropractors in the state of Maryland to have an Advanced Competency Certificate from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He is on the post-graduate faculty of New York Chiropractic College and is currently the Chief Instructor and Coordinator of the Chiropractic Assistant program. Dr. Crivelli believes in treating patients using the most current, evidence-based physical methods, as well as cutting edge nutritional therapies. He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Maryland Chiropractic Association, and the Association for the History of Chiropractic.
Dr. John P. Rosa is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, where he graduated with honors and was the recipient of five distinguished service and clinical awards. As a post-graduate faculty member, Dr. Rosa created a course to educate Chiropractic Assistants for the state of Maryland. His practice focuses on sports injuries, trauma due to auto and work injuries, and difficult or complicated disc injuries. He incorporates the latest technology and techniques available, such as laser therapy and spinal decompression. Dr. Rosa manages a team of chiropractors, medical doctors and physical therapists serving 13 clinics in Maryland and Virginia.
Dr. Charlie Ginsburg has a strong research background, having spent eight years in the field of connective tissue biochemistry. His practice focuses on the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries to the extremities and the spine. He uses physical therapy, rehab and chiropractic techniques, and incorporates ergonomics and therapeutic exercise into patients' treatment. He believes in inter-professional collaboration, and has strong relationships with members of the medical community and diverse alternative practitioners. Dr. Ginsburg has special interests in evidence-based medicine and martial arts injuries. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, spent six years in the PhD program at Boston University School of Medicine (ABD), and has a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic. He is licensed in Maryland as a Chiropractor with Physical Therapy Privileges.
Dr. Paul Tetro graduated from New York Chiropractic College in April of 1994. Upon graduation, he was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award. This award was given to the one individual that was an outpatient student/doctor for clinical excellence in diagnostic, radiological and patient care, and treatment protocols. Dr. Tetro has trained to treat work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, sports related injuries and patients with neck, back and extremity pains. Dr. Tetro has been in practice since May of 1994, had been previously trained in manipulation under anesthesia, and has special interests in patient care and pain management. Dr. Tetro has been practicing in Takoma Park, MD since July of 1999.
Dr. Rick Rosa is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College who has over ten years of clinical experience. Upon graduation, he was a full-time faculty member as an Assistant Instructor in various courses at New York Chiropractic College. Soon after, Dr. Rosa relocated to Maryland and remained a postgraduate instructor for New York Chiropractic College while starting in private practice. He has his diplomat from the American Academy of Pain Management, as well as advanced certification in various techniques, and is continually seeking what is cutting-edge in patient care. Dr. Rosa manages a team of chiropractors and medical doctors serving 10 clinics in Maryland and Virginia. In addition, he has treated many amateur, Olympic, and professional athletes, and has his own sports consulting company (www.Recoverydoc.net.).
Dr. Aekta Erry received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic and State University with a Bachelor's degree in the Science of Human Foods, Nutrition, and Exercise. She worked as a personal trainer throughout both her undergraduate and post-graduate career. She then went on to receive her Doctorate at Los Angeles Chiropractic College. In addition, she began to pursue her Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Michael Cramer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. His undergraduate degree in Communications Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara helps him effectively communicate to his patients in a way that they can easily understand. He specializes in neuromusculoskeletal disorders and injuries by utilizing the latest advances in chiropractic and physical rehabilitation for prompt recoveries. His pragmatic approach to health and well-being has helped countless patients to improve their health. He prides himself on providing quality principled care in a warm friendly environment. He is a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Dennis Travagline believes in providing the best and most thorough care possible to each of his patients. His strong diagnostic skills and his ability to strengthen the health of adults and children is derived from over 12 years experience in the healthcare field. Dr. Travagline holds a certification from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, is licensed by the state of Maryland as a “Doctor of Chiropractic” with physical therapy privileges; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (as a personal trainer). Dr. Travagline received his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College, and his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University.
After receiving an Alvin Ailey scholarship and performing with two New York jazz dance companies, Dr. Dina Rosa received her bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College and a doctorate from New York Chiropractic College. With over 10 years of clinical experience, she was head of physical medicine at an urgent care multidisciplinary facility and then started her own practice. She is a postgraduate faculty member at New York Chiropractic College where she was recently appointed to the Alumni Relations Council. She has a certification in whiplash trauma from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, and is also a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science. As a native New Yorker, Dr. Dina now calls northern Virginia home and enjoys being a mom to two boys.
Dr. Joshua Brooks is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, where he was an honors student throughout his career and the recipient of the Distinguished Service and Alumni Service awards. He also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from Syracuse University with a concentration in Pre-Medicine and Nutrition. While at Syracuse, Dr. Brooks was a non-scholarship athlete on the basketball team for three years, including the 2003 National Championship season. He is currently a member of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council and manages a First Aid/CPR/AED Training Center through the American Safety and Health Institute. Dr. Brooks is experienced in treating a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in sports related injuries. In addition, Dr. Brooks tries to practice with the latest and most effective chiropractic techniques including, Graston, Kinesiotaping, and rehabilitation.
Dr. David P. Chen received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health and Sciences, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Purdue University. Dr. Chen believes in treating patients by using the latest and most effective chiropractic treatment and rehabilitation. His practice areas of interest include treating variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, sports related injuries, and auto or work related injuries. He is currently a Certified Kinesio-Taping Practitioner. He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Chen is licensed to practice Chiropractic with Physical Therapy Privileges in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Dr. Nicholas Andolina is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College where he learned to utilize the latest chiropractic techniques. He also served as a student representative, attending many national and statewide chiropractic conventions. He began his undergraduate studies at Alfred University where he earned a Bachelors degree in biology and a minor in coaching. He also competed on the basketball team and served as team captain for three years. Dr. Andolina is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, as well as the Virginia and New York State Chiropractic Associations. His background includes working with patients of all ages; pediatric to geriatric, as well as treating high performance athletes. Board certified in both chiropractic and
physiotherapy, Dr. Andolina has experience in treating a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions using numerous techniques and treatment modalities. This experience has given him the knowledge needed to provide the highest quality care to every patient.
Dr. Thomas Bui received his Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University in 1995, and Doctor of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College in 1999. Dr. Bui believes that relieving pain and optimizing his patients' health with a natural approach is the most rewarding gift. Being a competitive salsa dancer, who also loves the great outdoors, Dr. Bui has a passion in helping patients with dance injuries in addition to sports, automobile accident and work-related injuries. He uses diversified techniques and myofascial release techniques, combined with exercises and nutrition in his practice. Dr. Thomas Bui speaks fluent Vietnamese and has been practicing in the states of Maryland and Virginia with physical therapy privileges since 1999.
